ProWine Asia set for an Astonishing Debut in Hong Kong

Since the organisers last announcement of a major show expansion, ProWine Asia 2017 has again reached exhibition capacity and developed into a truly first-class and diverse trade show. ProWine Asia’s Hong Kong debut encompasses Halls 5D and 5E after an extensive expansion in order to cater to the rapidly expanding exhibitor list. During the expansion, the organisers’ priorities were of maximizing visitor experience during the exciting 4-day trade fair.

Amidst the wealth of 200+ international exhibitors, ProWine Asia’s Hong Kong debut will feature 10 group pavilions consisting of a rich assortment of producers and suppliers - many supported by trade commissions of their country or wine region.

ProWine Asia’s country and region groups include Business France bringing 20+ participants, ICE (Italian Trade Agency) and Chianti pavilions presenting the wines of Italy, ViniPortugal promoting the export and trade development of Portuguese wines, German Wine Institute, WKO (Austrian Economic Chambers) and Wines of Greece by Enterprise Greece S.A.

Other participating regions include V.D.P. (Verband Deutscher Prädikats – premier association of Germany’s Prädikats Wine Estates) and New York Wine & Grape Foundation.

Programme Packed with Renowned Industry Experts

ProWine Asia 2017 includes a top-notch event programme filled with renowned industry experts, opinion leaders, trade organizations and associations. Featured are seminars and tastings facilitated by Jancis Robinson, Asia Wine Industry summits by Debra Meiburg, trade forums and seminars by Hong Kong Wine Chamber of Commerce, CRU and Whisky Magazines, with other events and developments to come.

The event schedule is an amalgamation of forums, masterclasses, and tastings which are designed to benefit both new and experienced trade professionals. These onsite events focus on a spectrum of topics including under-appreciated wine-varieties and regions, ways in which we can judge certain wines and spirits, to retail trends and e-commerce solutions which look forward to the future of an evolving industry.
